Bush's Debate Debacle
Wow, did you watch the debate? If you did, you would know that the "war president" just got his ass kicked by John Kerry in a debate about war. John Kerry spoke in well thought out paragraphs, articulating exactly what his plans for America are, and what his exact views on the Iraq war are. Kerry also had some great lines, including one where Kerry attacked a central theme of Bush's campaign:
Unfortunately, that didn't stop Bush from calling Kerry a flip-flopper approximately 87 more times in the debate. Bush seemed dazed and confused, for the first time in his four years, he had to answer some difficult questions, and he couldn't handle it. Bush repeated himself many times, could barely string together sentences, never eloquently stated his position on anything, and started out the answer to every question with about 20 seconds of ummmms, hmmmms, and, uhhhhs. Meanwhile the reaction shots of Bush were not to flattering either. While Kerry was shown taking notes, Bush was shown being agitated, angry, and if I can say bluntly, looking stupid.
"I made a mistake in how I talk about the war. But the president made a
mistake in invading Iraq. Which is worse?"
